Whether you are a serious show person wanting to touch up on that last minute training or just want to have a fun day out that both you and your dog can enjoy then a companion dog show is for you. From pedigrees to mongrels there is a class to suit everyone. Come along and have a fun day out with your best friend and help raise money for charity.
This year Ashby Show will be holding a companion dog show, under Kennel Club Rules and Regulations. The show is kindly sponsored by WAFCOL with proceeds going to Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Rutland Air Ambulance. Open to all breeds and crossbreeds, dogs need not be registered with the kennel club.
There are 6 pedigree classes including Any Variety Puppy and Any Variety Open and 9 novelty classes including best crossbreed and prettiest bitch to name a few. The judge for the day is Mrs Angie Walden (Anchaz).
Entries will be taken on the day of the show from 10:30am and judging will commence at 12 noon. The entry fee is £1.50 per class. Rosettes are 1st to 5th place in every class plus rosettes for Best in Show, Reserve Best in Show, Best Puppy In Show, Best Veteran in Show and Best Novelty in Show, and also specials sponsored by WAFCOL.
