Conditions of Entry

This Show is affiliated to the Welsh Pony & Cob Society and these classes will be held under their Rules and jurisdiction.  Names and registered numbers of ponies must be stated on the entry form for printing in the catalogue, or in the case of unregistered animals, the names of the sire and dam must be stated.
Exhibitor - You will need to provide the WPCS with certain personal information relating to you. Your privacy is extremely important to WPCS, so we want you to know exactly how we will use that personal information. Our full privacy notice setting out detailed information about matters such as personal information we use, for what purpose we use it, what our legal basis for doing so is and who we share it with can be viewed on our website http://wpcs.uk.com/.  The booking of your class entry to this show will show you agree to this notice.

CLASS 47 - BROOD MARE

4 years old or over, with foal at foot or to foal in the current year. A certificate of service should be available for inspection

Progeny of Mare in Class 47

CLASS 49 - BARREN MARE or GELDING

4 years old or over, (barren mare must not have produced a foal or will not produce a foal in the current year.)

CLASS 50 - YEARLING

Colt, filly or gelding.  This class will be split if 6 or more entries.

CLASS 51 - STALLION or COLT

2 years old or over

CLASS 52 - FILLY or GELDING

TROPHY
T10 The FUEL OIL SUPPLY CO. LTD. WELSH “B” CUP will be awarded to the Best Pony in this Section.
QUALIFIER
Q23 The Champion & Reserve Champion of this Section will go forward for the Rotherwood Supreme In Hand Trophy.  All first and second prizewinners are eligible to compete in the Championship.
Champion and Reserve Champion go forward to NPS/Kilmannan Stud Mountain & Moorland In Hand Silver Medal Rosette.  Ring and time to be announced on day.  The highest placed pony in the first three in classes 47, 49 - 52, owned by an NPS Qualifying or Life Member will qualify for the NPS/Highbrook Stud M&M In Hand National Championships.

Q33    Classes 47 - 52 are qualifiers for the Spillers/Equifest M&M In Hand Championship.
Q33a  Classes 47 & 49 - 52 are qualifiers for the Royal London Show.
The Welsh Pony & Cob Society Bronze Medal will be awarded to the Welsh Section Champion or Reserve Champion.
