General information

Miniature Shetlands must NOT exceed 34"

Conditions of Entry

Classes must be confined to Registered Ponies.  Ponies must be named on the entry form and in the catalogue.  Society rosettes will only be given to ponies registered with the Society or eligible for registration (i.e. foals).  Three year old fillies with foals at foot may not be shown.  All foals must be a minimum of three weeks old on the day of the Show. All entire males aged 2 years and over must display a stallion disc.
There must be no colts or entire males in Young Handlers classes.  Children under 14yrs old may not show colts (excluding foals) or entire males in In-hand classes. Hard hats must be worn by all handlers aged 14 yrs or under in In-hand classes. Exhibitors should not kneel but remain standing while in the ring.

SPECIAL AWARDS

The Shetland Pony Stud Book Society offers its Rosette to the Champion and Reserve Champion Standard Shetland Pony in Classes 53 - 56 and the Champion and Reserve Champion Miniature Shetland Pony in Classes 57 - 60.
The Shetland Pony Stud Book Society offers its Rosette to the Best Foal in Classes 54 and 58.
The Shetland Pony Stud Book Society offers its Rosettes to the Junior Champion and Junior Reserve Champion Shetland Pony in Class 56.

The Society’s Rosettes will be awarded to the Supreme Champion and Reserve Supreme Champion Shetland Ponies. The Champion and Reserve Champion and Junior Champion and Reserve Junior Champion are eligible to compete. The Overall Champion will qualify for the Rotherwood Supreme In- Hand Trophy.

Supreme Champion and Reserve Champion go forward to NPS/Kilmannan Stud Mountain and Moorland In-hand Silver Medal Rosette. Ring and time to be announced on day.  The highest placed pony in the first three in classes 53 - 60, owned by an NPS Qualifying or Life Member will qualify for the NPS/Highbrook Stud M&M InHand National Championships.
Q33    Classes 53 - 56 are all Spillers/Equifest Qualifiers.
Q33d  Classes 53 - 56 are qualifiers for the Royal London Show.
TROPHY
T16 The Sapphire Perpetual Challenge Trophy will be awarded to the Champion
Shetland.
