This Show is affiliated to the Shire Horse Society and these Classes will be held under their Rules.

SPECIAL AWARD
The British Percheron Horse Society has kindly presented a Society Rosette to the Best Percheron.

CLASS 20 - BEST YOUNG HANDLER

The horse to have been entered and shown in one of the previous classes, to be handled by any young person over 13 years of age and who has not attained their 18th birthday on the day of the Show.  This class will be judged only on the Handlers competence in handling the horse (must not be handling a foal) and must be under the strict supervision of an adult. The winner of the competition will qualify for the Midland Shire Foal Society Show & Sale's Young Handler of the Year Award.

TROPHY
T5 The SOCIETY’S PERPETUAL SILVER CHALLENGE CUP will be awarded to the Best Draught Horse.
SPECIAL AWARD
The SHIRE HORSE SOCIETY SILVER PLATED SPOON and Rosette will be awarded for the Best Mare or Filly exhibited in the Shire Classes. The winner of this prize must be a Member of the Shire Horse Society. No animal to be eligible to take more than one Silver Spoon during any one year. The Shire Horse Society Shows being excepted. The winning animal must be registered or eligible for registration in the Stud Book or Grade “B” Register.

The 1st & 2nd prize winners from the above classes are eligible to compete for the Champion & Reserve Champion.

Classes 13 and 16-20 are qualifiers for the Royal London Show.
