The Society

Ashby Show first started in 1904 at the Bath Grounds at Ashby de la Zouch, behind the Royal Hotel. There was a break during some of the First & Second World War years when the Ashby Show was not held.

As it grew in size it moved to the beautiful site at Calke Park and when it again got too big it moved to Measham Lodge Farm.  After a very successful and popular move last year, Ashby Show will be again held at Cattows Farm, Normanton Lane, Heather, Coalville, Leics, LE67 2TD.  This is by kind permission of Mr & Mrs A Ludlam and we are very grateful to all the help and support they and their son, James, give to the Committee with all the preparations in the run-up to the Show.

The event is planned throughout the year and takes place, this year, on Sunday, 14th July. It has become one of the highlights of the summer and has a packed programme of events and attractions to suit all ages.
