The show provides an exciting variety of sights, sounds and entertainment
for the whole family, with stalls displaying
everything agricultural both new and old, arts and crafts, horticulture
and the ever-popular British Farm Produce Marquee. A large number
of organisations including Y.F.C. and W.I. are represented.
Ashby
Show is noted for the high quality and variety of exhibits, which
includes Shires and light horses. All livestock classes can be
viewed during judging in the morning, this leads to the spectacular
sight of the grand parade of winners, which takes place in the
Main Ring during the afternoon.
In
addition to competitions such as show jumping, archery and
clay pigeon shooting there
is a continuous programme of events in the Main Ring during the
afternoon.
